My Teaching Style
With my degree in music production I have taught classes, private lessons, and I have been the lead full time teacher at the Musicians Woodshed for 2 years now. I have recorded in several professional studios and I enjoy producing in my home studio. Singing on stage with my band, After Aristotle is my passion! I can teach you how to be an integral part of a band and play along to your favorites!
Sessions consist of following lesson plans, learning student chosen compositions, inspiring and encouraging creative abilities, warm-up and strengthening exercises, proper technique, listening exercises, composition skills, scales, fingerings, chords, and overall really how to get a great sound and feel from your instrument/voice.
I specialize in working with ages 5-16 but have experience working with students as young as 3 and as "experienced" as 65. I enjoy working with all ages!
